System integration for greater efficiency and transparency 

As Käfer continued to grow, a diverse system landscape emerged, encompassing multiple ERP, POS, and time-tracking solutions. This variety provided valuable insights into different operational approaches but also highlighted the need for stronger integration and standardization to further enhance efficiency and transparency across the organization.

Strengthening centralized digital governance 

Digital initiatives had previously been driven independently within each business division. The goal was to consolidate these efforts, define strategic priorities, and establish a company-wide digital roadmap - a task now overseen by the newly created CDO role.

To ensure the company’s long-term digital readiness, Käfer focused on modernizing and harmonizing its core processes and systems. The objective was to build a scalable IT and data architecture while sustainably improving operational workflows and the overall customer experience.
